Hi,
i'm looking for a proxy which i can connect to irc channels to. The most public proxy servers out there are HTTP proxies, and the most of them are either black listed or i can't connect to irc servers, because of method/forbidden/not allowed... error messages. I guess, the proxy has to understand the CONNECT method and allow it of course, too. But where can i find such a proxy?
Also, i have never had any socks proxy. I guess it's just a legend ....
And what about wingates? .... None of them out there ...
And a proxy to connect to ftp sites? My ISP has such a proxy for me. But i couldn't find any other out there Rolling Eyes
