I need to find files in a directory with a blank index page. I used to have a program that scans for files based on a word list, but I can't find it. Does anyone have a program to find files in a hidden directory?

i dont think there exists such a program.
ONLY If .. there are links ( image links , content links ....etc) to that folder then you can only see those files...

The only thing i remember was in a bug in :
JRun version 3.0
JRun version 3.1

Upon sending a specially formed request to the web server, containing a '.jsp' extension makes the JRun handle the request. Example:

http://www.example.com/%3f.jsp

This vulnerability allows anyone with remote access to the web server to browse it and any directory within the web root.

be more specific

no it was like a program that searches the directory for common files like /admin/, log.txt, error_log, test.html, _private, /test/, /files/, /includes/, passwords.txt, /source/, /inc/, etc.

i use acunetix web vulnerability scanner.. not only for directory listing .. for pen testing .. and most of the times i may find some directories...

but if directory listing is disabled i think there is no way getting the files within it.

looking for exactly the same thing....
i found a perl script, but it didn't work.
its fairly simple in concept-
user inputs url eg http://www.somesite.com/blabla
and chooses some wordlist.
then a the program start assembling urls like
http://www.somesite.com/blabla/admin
http://www.somesite.com/blabla/passwords
etc
then it connect to the server. if http respons= 404 or 302 or some else specified by the user then the url is not shown at end. else it is cause its probably valid.
anyone seen such thing
