First off you can still get updates from the Automatic update wizard and secondly it may bring more users to a proper OS like Linux or Solaris. I think M$ may have shot them selves in the foot. I also think that this will cause more confussion because I've heard that shop PCs like PB, HP and Dell pick up as illegal. M$ really has made the OS a lot less user friendly. I wouldnt mind a key generator if someone knows the link to one.
