Hi,

I was trying to hack a forum of phpbb version under 2.0.12 (dunno which exactly as all it shows is phpbb 2003). Anyway I've changed the right line in the cookies txt in Mozilla directory.

When I opened the forum again I was not logged in, but a message "Hacking Attempt" appeared... this forum was modified by a certain "Przemo" whoever he is - but a lot of phpbb forums were modified by him.

Aby ideas how to hack it anyway?

http://www.site.com/forum/docs/CHANGELOG.html

change the above to fit the forum you want to hack.
you will know the version of the board from the changelog file or INSTALL.html, both work.

after you find the version, search for some exploits on here.

hope that helps

But as far as I know the version number in docs/ will not be changed when an update is made. So you only get the "install"-version number in my oppinion.
