I suggest that a new forum be added to the board. I think that the forum should be one where users post hashes, and offer to pay other users to crack them. But perhaps it shouldn't be limited to just hashes. It should be a serices forum, where users can post a request, IE, a certain forum being hacked or something like that, and in return for a user hacking the specified forum, the person making he request will pay the hacker once the job has been done. I think it's a suggestion that many people would love.

Painig to decrypt hashes is OK but paing to hack some server is not a good idea.

U miss the point. It doesn't necessarily have to be a server, it's more for overall services

This is a security forum, not a hacking forum. Please don't get the two confused. If you don't know the differance then you should not be here.
We offer advice, not all-in-one hacking solutions.

Oh please! I'm so sure, a security forum not a hacking forum. yeah, that totally explains the IPB exploit waraxe made, or his latest advisory on how to own a nulled VB forum. If you're looking for a security forum, maybe YOU shouldn't be here.

This is Grey Hat forum, not Black Hat. My advisories and exploits are meant for good cause - so that webmasters, hosting admins and other people can make web more safe. I know, that there is lot's of wannabe scriptkiddies around, but that's the reality, that i can't change ...
Personally i'm against any defacement and other low-grade bullshit. Best hacks are hard to detect and almost impossible to traceback Wink
Any kind of money offering, URL posting and other similar activity is not welcome here Exclamation ... let's try to stay more on theoretical level ...

So, right back at you Sniper. I see where you are coming from with the idea, but to be honest, it only supports script kiddies.

So shut up lenny.

@ Waraxe: If this is a Grey Hat forum, then why do you have malicious codes here? By writing that IPB code, you had to know that ppl would use it maliciously. Also, ur tutorial on how to own a VB forum wasn't exactly something I'd use for security.

Dang, I wasn't going to jump in here but oh well.

Everything on this website is for educational purposes only. No one is telling anyone to do anything with the information they learned here.

I have a job. I just got back from it. You'll also note I never said that ppl here were TOLD to use these scripts, but the fact that they were written kinda means to use them for non-educational purposes. It would be impossible to convince that the scripts on this website, such as the IPB exploit, were created with education in mind. I think that you agree with me as well.

How can you learn if you don't do anything.

Just saying i can fix a car, dosen't help me learn anything.

So i go out and fix my car.

Same with exploits you wanna learn so you test own a local host server.

Not someone elses.

This is starting to turn into a flame war - Waraxe or a moderator lock this topic?

Nobody is really with you here Sniper, and as I said, I see where your coming from... but the legalities of a grey hat forum is a world away from the legalities of a pay-to-hack site. I doubt this website would remain alive for very long if we made those changes, my best bet is that Waraxe would be ordered to cease and desist from his web host or ISP...

And really, There are enough nice people on this forum that will do things for you for free anyway if you ask nicely Wink
