Recently I had the urge to get a new AIM screen name, and I really wanted swanson. However, some bloke out there already has it. I was wondering if there is some way to brute force the pass? Is anyone aware of some existing software that takes a word list? Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. Bruteforcing attacks are so outrageously inefficient and these days well-monitored that its not as if AOL's technical team is going to not notice a couple thousands of attempted logins on a single account. Google his email account see what you find. Maby he reuses for passwords? This could be a long task but if you want info thats the way to get it...
