The salt isn't necessary, it's enclosed in the hash Smile

By the way, what rainbow tables did you use? I've never really seen tables for phpbb3 hashes. It's almost impossible due to the salt Confused

Rainbow tables are made for a specific type of algorithm. You can't use table for md5 with phpbb3 hashes for example.

And with salt I meant the salt you posted after the hash.

To crack the hashes in PasswordsPro (which I assume PWP stands for):

Import the hashes only (make sure to include the possible . or / at the end) and select the md5(PHPBB3) algorithm.
Then try using dictionary attacks, which is the most efficient.
