which version of the phpBB forum is it?

to get the md5 hash, you need to get the cookie information of the target, its all on this category of the forum. like if its the latest version of phpBB, check the "2.0.19 XSS Remote Cookie Disclosure Exploit" topic

and then use the sticky topic at the top, and you will know how to get the md5 once you have the cookie.
