im building a cheap workstation to use as NAS and a http webserver.

i want to use linux, no idea what to use, thats all ill be using it for, what do you suggest ? any kits you can get to patch EVERYTHING ?

probably gonna have its own firewall so every port apart from 80 will be closed and stealthed.

i use ubuntu .. i found ubuntu very easy and patches are always there when you need them .. furthermore.. ubuntu are easy to install ssh , php , sql , anything ,. it is just pressing some buttons .. so .. i suggest using them..
