Posted: Sun Jun 25, 2006 9:53 am piglet Regular user Joined: Jan 17, 2006 Posts: 10 Hi, Almost all sites on the internet which use a name & password field are liable to be remembered by the browser (unless you specify not to). With PHP, it should be possible to generate a different field name for every checkin to prevent this happening. I know you can tell the browser NOT to remember passwords, but this method would simply prevent any accidents. I always think that the user is the weakest link in security, so this would be a simple solution. Any thoughts on this idea? I don't know, really! You can write some test html file within 1 minute and test it against IE, Firefox and Opera.
