ok, time is over ... I did not test cain, had other stuff to do, ... but it seems to be quite a nice pice of software, cause it is a collection of nearly everything you need on the windows side.

Basically you are 100% in right way,
only that this decode operation needs to be done many-many times,
so manual method is not option.

As far as I know there is no hack available for the actual versions neither for 2.2 or later or 3.0 or later.
