The forum I want to access has one section that is open to everybody, one that is open to all forum members (which I am) and then several "group forums" for selected users (the users invite each other). I would like to access the latter. Just to read them. I do not want to screw things up for them by deleting or editing stuff.

I would be very grateful for any help provided.

Anbybody?

It is not too easy to get help around here. I am not talking about giving help as to where the search button is and what you might find with it. I have tried it a lot, but I wasn't able to find straight to the point guidelines. If anybody can help by giving me (complete) instrutions as to what I should do or by receiving the address to the forum and then managing to get admin access, please pm me or post a reply. You would probably like the information you will be able to gather Smile

the only thing i can think of is getting access to the admin account, then you can just view anything you want, but this method relies on quite a few 'if this and if that'

try using the following method, board will have to have html enabled

phpBB <= 2.0.19 XSS Remote Cookie Disclosure Exploit

and also many more exploits in the milw0rm site
