Hi,
i want to use the mask attack option but in a specific manner. I know that the password contains 9 characters for sure and that the last of them is 7. So this conditions would reduce the search and make it much more shorter. However i cant figure out what wildcards to use so the first 8 characters can be letters, numbers or symbols. Can you please give a hint?

also, on the brute force attack tab there is a text box with a check box on the left side. Could anybody please tell me whats that for?
