Ive been experimenting with phpnuke vulnerabilities on a site that I know is vulnerablev(im running it on the latest version of wamp). However I absolutely cant seem to get any of them to work. I know that its vulnerable to http://milw0rm.org/exploits/1866 but I keep getting 406 errors. I researched and found out that its because of apache mod_security. Any suggestions on getting around it?

edit: update, ive tried http://milw0rm.org/exploits/3344 http://milw0rm.org/exploits/3345 http://milw0rm.org/exploits/3344
and all the exploits written in c for <=7.8, but have gotten nowhere. any ideas?

Hmm.. This forum doesnt seem to be too busy.. Anyway, I figured it out. I just had to modify this perl exploit a bit:http://milw0rm.org/exploits/3344
I just changed the offset from 4 to 1.
Code:
my $offset=4;#It is the most important variable!!

verified it against my own php-nuke site running on wamp and against server in the wild. I cant believe I was so stupid. PS: anyone wanna crack this with rainbow tables? the md5 is: 6773b9f6202204401104153eda540e0d
