i've been brute forcing for 32 days now, heeeelp
vista
i've tried ophcrack rainbow vista free
cain brute force 1-7 caracters with abc...123...
in cain lm gives "empty"
no idea of lenght or caracter set
acccount name : swilliam
lm : AAD3B435B51404EEAAD3B435B51404EE
nt : A8E387CB3349B9429CC6BB12D4B090A6
in case of succes, many thanks

Yes, I had no success with hash cracking.
Still, you have option to change the hash (reset password). There are lots of commercial products and some freeware too, for example:
http://home.eunet.no/pnordahl/ntpasswd/
Just remember, that password reset will mean, that encrypted filesystem objects are gone (EFS keys will be lost) and for example IE stored passwords (from Protected Storage) will be gone too. |

okido, thank you very much
resetting is indeed an option, but then i loose all underlying passwords and encrypted files also, and thats what i'm trying to avoid.
i'll continue some brute force for some time, and when nothing found, reset the password and than see what i can recuperate.

I was kind of hoping that someone could crack this NTLM hash for me. It probably contains one or more of these letters: 'æ', 'ø' and 'å', and I can approximate the size to 7 or more characters.

Could you please help retrieve this NT Hash for my laptop ASAP thanks. I ran Ophcrack Vista free over it which didn't work.

2;1000 if thats applicable.

can somebody help me? I lost my password a few days ago but i got the LM and NT hash
but i couldn't discover a converter and then i saw that somebody is able to convert it on this site

ah, i lost my adminpassword, but don't want to lose all data
tried to crack with john the ripper, but failed...

I have multiple Rainbow Tables for LM cracking, smallest set is ~200 MB and largest is bigger than 60 GB.
Such Rainbow Tables are freely downloadable, for example:

And I was using Cain:
