Firstly, thank you for taking the time to read this and for offering any help you can.
Okay, like everybody else here I am trying to crack into a phpbb forum and am having very little luck trying to figure out exactly how to do so. I've been on here and google reading thread after thread, but am having no luck.
I believe the version of the forum is 2.0.21
Now, unless I am blind or completely retarded, which at this point is more than possible, I can not find an article anywhere explaining how to obtain the md5 password for a board of the above version.
Any direction towards a solution will be greatly appreciated!
I've found this - http://www.milw0rm.com/exploits/2348 but am unsure how to use it or what exactly to even do with it, if anything..?
Thanks again! |

Okay, I'm basically a noob but all I can tell you is html has to be enabled to use an sql injection and to get an md5 you have to steal their cookie, through some sort of html thing.
I broke into a 2.0.17 the noob way, I guess the backup admin's password and I got it right on the 3rd try. The password was admin.
Try guessing a few passwords is all I can tell you. Sorry. |

That doesn't really help.
Is there anybody that could PM me so that we can get in touch and help teach me the things I can not find here? I hate to admit it, but I am desperate... |
