Login to your forum account and click on the "Admin" link at the bottom of the page to get to the admin control panel. 2. Expand the "Maintenance" menu, and then click "Database Backup" 3. Make sure all the tables are marked as "Yes" 4. Choose where you want to save the backup. It will default to something like ./forumbackup-05-08-2008-58caa.sql This is in your main directory so you might want to change it. 5. You might also want to transfer a copy to your hard drive, just incase!
