how much data is a mysql table capable of handling? and does it affect its speed when fetching?
can a table go over 200 GB ? and how fast/slow is it going to be ?

In theory, the only limit is your hard disk, if you're in FAT32 it's 4Go per table, else it's 200Go if you've a 200Go disk.
Then it will as fast as possible if you "index" correctly. I mean the column which will be most asked have to or should be indexed.

well i'm kinda greedy and have alot of hd's, so if as u said it goes as much as my hd goes the it can also be > 1TB ?

Yep a 1TB database will be fine.. once you hit 2TB though you may start having problems
