This happens on 99% of the forums:

Code:
vBulletin Database Backup System

Backups must be run prior to the upgrade, if the upgrade is complete please use the Admin Control Panel.

For a foolproof backup, login to your server via Telnet or SSH and use the mysqldump command on the command line. For more details, read this.

Is this a setting? or have i done something wrong?

Yes, I know, most nulled VB forums are not exploitable in the way I showed in advisory. Still there are lots of vulnerable targets out there Smile
