I am trying to see if I can renew my website for a one month period but my hosting company says they only do 1, 2, and 3 year billing cycles....but they were willing to send me a link for a 3 month period as a "courtesy". I'm just wondering if the code in the link can be cracked so that I can force the site to allow me to renew for a one month period. Thanks. if you can crack this you are AWESOME!!

I am not going to post the actual link, as when I do it displays all my personal info.....so here is the pertinent info that is needed for you to work on cracking the code.....

Thanks!!

You see this URI fragment:

Code:

h=59be208bdcb9d45754f35c36f6a75cb2

This is probably hash token, which prevents request manipulation.
And by the way, such activity is very dangerous and will get you lot's of trouble. Just my $0.02 Smile

They're already generous enough to provide you a three months term Smile I'd be happy with it, considering they already made an exception.

My advice is to know try and scam a host...

My thought is that the oid is something like "order id". So they link you to that specific order with the hash token as waraxe said. This is to prevent manipulation of the system. There might be a way but I think they're clever enough to hide it (if there is any) Wink
