Hello.
I got some vbulletin 3.0.7 md5. I got their salts too.
Is there any way to crack them or to craft a cookie so I can login with any account?

OK i found out how to craft a cookie.
The password who is stored in a cookie is stored like this:
| Code: | | md5('password in the database' . 'vB license id'); |
So, if you got the hash of the password, then you have to append the license id to this hash and then calculate the md5 again, so you will have the hash you have to add to the cookie.
So, lets suppose that the initial hash is 01f9b91804dbe107c43df0690dbf63ad and the license id is 3879dg2a.
So the final hash should be like this: 01f9b91804dbe107c43df0690dbf63ad3879dg2a.
MD5 encoding this again you get:
5a1e2e2091d0a9609e693849ad33912d
So you have to add this hash to the bbpassword field found on cookie.
Do not forget to change user id in cookie too. |
