Hey their
Okay I got a large forum, someone joined up and apperantly his friend has access to aim's merlin server.
Thats Aol Instant Messenger Server, and can my password and other admins passwords..
How do i stop him from messing with my Site..
All Admins Got Their Password Change and New Aim names that are kept private..
Ill htaccess the admin root on my phpbb forum..
But what else. and what can i do to this guy.. |

I find it difficult to believe that he has access to the said database..
However, even if he did, I would take that to mean that he has access to an encrypted version of your password. If that's the case, he still has to crack it to get your password. If you password is difficult then he probably won't crack it. Finally, if the password to the AIM account is different than that of the forum then he's out of luck. So why not just make the password different if you're really worried about it?
My guess is that he doesn't have access to the database, but is using some sort of exploit to get in. |
