Hi,

I am fairly recent to this forum, beeing a IT professional with some experience and having had my share of fun in my reckless days i came to apreciate this forum and the information in it, specially since i recently needed to crack some complex hash's . I found that some of the tools and information in here provided me with some excelent insight into things i either have forgoten or never learned.

hell i either took the time to get a 32 cpu machine with 2 Gpu's to test some software and cracking technics i learned in here. In fact i have to confess i already stole some wonderfull code from the section below ( or is it above...anyway)

However browsing this forum i coudn't miss that 8 out of 10 posts are crack requests by people that do not have a clue of some of the most basic stuff.

Note that i really don't care and I am not complaining, but i tend to have some spite for people that offer money for the hash plain text and more even for those who don't pay up Smile .

it is much more usefull to point people into the right direction , let them do it themselfs , help them understand, help them to read the forum and who knows maybe just maybe enlarge the comunity that cares and likes IT security .

My 2 cent's I hope i didn't offend anyone.

Yes, i know, there is lot's of people only after hash cracking. But there is special section dedicated for hash requests, so i don't see problem here. And there seems to be many people specialized at hash cracking and helping others, so why not ...
About money offerings for cracked hashes - this is what i tend to dislike here. And i'm sure, that most of those people are just scammers. So my suggestion is just ignore those threads with $$$ offerings. And maybe i will ban such members in future, will see Wink

I have to agree as well. I don't mind when people use propper spelling and grammar and are willing to learn, but when people come here using text speak or leet speak asking for hashes to be cracked without even one post in another part of the forum Its just asking for trouble - the cheek of these people is unbelievable!

Ah well, aside from that the community is very helpful Smile
