so far i did it with just connecting to college using VPN and it worked great. but now i need a new ip and thought i could do it with a proxy.

so is there any proxy u know of that allows VPN connection and that wont let anyone know my real ip ?

or even better: what do u guys use for something like that ?

do u have links where i can find what i need ?

please help me !! im not too lazy to read and learn it all by myself, but i need to know what to look for. im still a bloody noob.

thx guys

Proxies only have the ability to mask your IP/Location when surfing the web, therefore they would not help you in playing a game.

In order to mask your IP/Location while playing a game you would need a fast VPN.

Proxies aren't just for web, they can be used to relay data from many different service types of various ports. However, to use the proxy for the game the game itself would need to be configured with the proxy information so that it connects to the proxy, which then in turn relays data to the gaming server. My guess is the game doesn't allow this. Even if it did it would probably create a considerable delay, which isn't acceptable for many of the games out there.

drag: There are utilities allowing to set SOCKS proxies for every application which is running. Unfortunately I forgot the name. :p
But I think you are able to search it by yourself.
